Hockey is Like Kindergarten
May 12th, 2008
I had never been to a hockey game before, but thanks to eBay (my first time on eBay, believe it or not), I scored tickets to the last weekend Sharks game which was sold out. … I thought it was amusing that when a player commits a penalty, they are confined to a clear “box” called the penalty box, like being grounded or wearing a dunce cap facing the corner of a wall.
Moss Landing Sea Otter
February 15th, 2008
Last month, I went on a staff overnight retreat for work. After a ridiculous number of pit stops before we were actually on our way in our party van with 12 seats, we got distracted by some sea otters hanging out in the water on the way to Phil’s Fish Market for lunch. [...]
Safety In Numbers
January 9th, 2008
My New Year’s Eve didn’t turn out as I expected. I was looking for something chill and opted for dinner in Sausalito (at Poggio Trattoria, started by an Il Fornaio implant, which had a good deal and delicious food).

Five months ago, two of my good friends entered the lottery for Olympic tickets and they were informed last week that they were granted tickets to four (out of their requested six) events: basketball, diving, water polo, and volleyball. Which means… I am going to Beijing next summer!
I happened to be in San [...]
Leopards and Tigers and Bugs, Oh My!
October 27th, 2007
Yesterday at around 5:45pm, a good friend of mine called me telling me she had a question that she thought I would be able to answer. I thought she wanted directions to a place as a few of my friends and I often call each other for directions hoping that the other person is [...]
Manga Reception
September 3rd, 2007
Last week, thanks to a friend, I went to Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and saw the current special exhibit on manga which was pretty good. Some of the stories are just weird, but I guess that’s not out of the ordinary? The exhibit runs until September 9th.
